Skerryvore - On the Road

Skerryvore are a busy young west coast Ceilidh band based in Glasgow. They join a long line of terrific musicians from the tiny island of Tiree, right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, Skerryvore are a band that will have you kicking up your heels on the dance floor till way after dark.
Skerryvore are: Daniel Gillespie - accordions; Martin Gillespie - Highland pipes & accordion; Alec Dalglish - acoustic & electric guitars, vocals; Fraser West - percussion, drums; Barry Caulfield - bass guitar, backing vocals; Craig Espie - fiddle.

Rachel Walker - Fon Reul-Sholus

Rachel Walker was brought up in Kinlochewe, Wester Ross and began singing in Gaelic at an early age. Since then she has studied Gaelic song at the RSAMD and performed throughout Scotland, as well as at festivals in Ireland Spain and France. She has sung with various bands including Dòchas and Skipinnish, has been on radio, and has clocked up an impressive number of television appearances.

Calum Alex MacMillan, from the Isle of Lewis, is one of Scotland's leading young Gaelic singers. He turns out an excellent debut album, demonstrating his double Mod Gold Medal winning talents. Plenty of traditional songs with gentle accompaniment, a couple of instrumental tracks too, and a guest appearance from his father, Seonaidh Beag MacMillan.
