Skipinnish - Skipinnish
SKIPCD01 (October 2001)

Angus MacPhail and Andrew Stevenson who together make up the young Scottish traditional duo Skipinnish, come from the Island of Tiree and the hamlet of Achnacarry in Lochaber respectively. This does not mean they are strangers to fashion, irony and complexity. Both have BA degrees in Scottish music from the RSAMD. Angus's primary instrument is the piano accordion which he studied under Ian Muir, while Andrew's excellent grounding in the great highland bagpipe has been given polish and refinement unter the tutelage of Allan MacDonald of Glenuig.
